When choosing new windows, you have a lot of research to do before deciding who is the best company for you. You must compare the windows themselves, their energy efficiency, price, and warranties, of course, but those things were not the deciding factor for this customer. Listen to what made this Overland Park woman choose All-Weather over two other window companies.
“We had a large window wall in our home. It’s the first thing you see when you come in the front door. It consists of six vertical windows and covers the entire two-story back wall of our living room. We noticed some wood rot around the windows and knew it was time to replace them. I decided to use my usual method of calling three companies to compare products and prices. The first company I called was All-Weather.
Scott came to my home, took a look at the window wall, as well as five bedroom windows on the second floor we needed to replace, took measurements and told me about a couple of options. He said he had a window style in mind that he thought would look the best. He said if it was his home, he would choose these windows.
He asked me to come to the showroom so I could get a good up-close look at the style he recommended. My husband and I did and we were able to touch and see the quality. The Andersen windows were very heavy and sturdy. He explained that these Andersen windows weren’t our cheapest option, but because the window wall was the focal point of the room, they would look the best and provide the most glass for the opening.
I got two other quotes. One was, amazingly, within $20 of the quote from All-Weather and the other was $2,000 more. Honestly, the thing that tipped the scale for me was not the price, or even the quality of the windows (all three companies seemed to have high-quality windows), but rather the fact that the other two companies never mentioned anything about the style of window they recommended or how it would look in my home. It seemed that they had one style to sell and never even mentioned anything about what would look the best in that wall. That, and the fact that Scott and Doug were so easy to work with, really made me feel more comfortable choosing All-Weather for the job.
They ordered all of the windows, kept me up to date on scheduling, and did a fantastic job of installing and cleaning up. I’m thrilled with my new windows! I would recommend All-Weather Windows and Doors to anyone based on price, service, and beauty. I wasn’t surprised to find out that they’ve won Angie’s List’s Super Service award four years in a row.”
